Postscript

Report of Shanghai’s Social and Economic Development in Relation to China’s Accession to the WTO came out as a result of the great support given by government agencies, business associations and other stakeholders. The three professors, Prof. GAO Yongfu, Prof. FENG Jun, and Prof. GONG Baihua have offered valuable advice to make it a better version. I am also indebted to a lot of people who have provided their research information to the Report.
